512 Battery Controls & Removal

HOW TO LOCK AND REMOVE THE CATALINA BATTERY PACK

• Your Catalina battery will arrive locked. Ensure it is locked before riding.
• MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE KEY OFF THE BATTERY EVERY TIME YOU REMOVE OR INSERT THE BATTERY.

To lock or unlock the battery:

1. On the drive side, insert the battery key into the right side Catalina battery lock or unlock.
2. Rotate the key counterclockwise to lock. Always remove the key before attempting to remove the battery.

To remove the battery:

1. Place one hand on the battery handle and the other hand under the battery.
2. Carefully slide the battery pack upwards with a forward and upward motion, in the direction on the downtime, then lift it from the battery cradle.
3. To insert the battery Catalina Battery Pack, place one hand on the battery handle and the other hand under the battery.
4. Align the battery to the battery slot and carefully slide the battery pack inward with a downward motion, into the battery slot.
