Ristretto uses a hydraulic brake system with large rotors. The brakes are one of the most important components in an electric bike that allows a rider to slow down or stop the bike when needed.
Pre-Ride Checklist
- While rolling your bike beside you, pull on one of the brake levers.
- The bike should come to a stop immediately (Repeat with the other lever).
- Braking system components are free from damage and properly secured.
