- Only charge your Ristretto bike using the charger and adapter provided by us. Using a generic charger can overcharge the battery which will damage it over time.
- After riding, we recommend not to plug your battery in to charge right away. Instead, allow the battery to cool before charging it.
- Give the battery a few minutes between unplugging it from the charger and riding it. Riding your Ristretto right on it after it was charging can cause damage within time.
- Try not to drain the battery to 0% while riding it. Instead, drain it somewhere in the 10%-20% range before charging it up to 100% for maximum battery power.
- Avoid leaving your battery completely dead for an extended period. If you aren’t riding your Ristretto for an extended period, allow a slight charge to the battery before letting it sit.
